Measure the diameter of your bore. Place the piston at BDC and measure the stroke to TDC. Use 3.142 X bore radius squared,( pir2), then multiply this by the stroke. This gives you the. swept volume. Your clearance volume depends on a flat or dished piston, thickness of cyl head gasket and which head you are using. 9.5:1 would be an average with a 20cc clearance volume with a 163cc swept vol.
