Some of the guys use petrol to flush out the engines when they swap from the cooking fat (Cool Power) to the Joe Bloggs XP stuff so you have just done what is common practice in the prokarting community - not sure what petrol is like on the seals though.

And the other thing you have just done is what happens in the cadet community - Rich daddy starts up a stone cold £5k GX160 RR-SP and revs the 'nads off it on the stand!

Just a typical day in the life of a GX160 I guess and they just keep on going!

At the base of the air filter housing are a couple of levers - one is the fuel shut off to the carb. Might come in useful if the tap on the fuel tank is suspect.
