A bit late now, but thought I'd add that the first ever rolling starts in Honda Cadet on the sunday last month were a complete success at Whilton, the club will now be running them on Honda for the rest of the year, as it went so well, the 2 practice sessions on the saturday were comical, and highly entertaining but full credit to WMKC and the MSA for de-bugging the process on the saturday before the races on the sunday.......as luck would have it my 9 year old son was on pole for the very first standing start on sunday, and he lead for about a lap and a half, which I'mm 100% sure in saying would not have happened if it was rolling starts, he would have been punted off in no time.......shame we then got disqualified for breaching the track boundaries when exiting the boot after the race......you cant have it all!.....but on the up-side he broke his lap record by half a second and made the other drivers work very hard for the over-takes B-)
