If you can, ask the person you bought the kart/engine off to see what they used.

Hopefully it isn't Cool Power as that would require the engine fully flushing (ideally stripping) before putting a more conventional oil in it.

I wouldn't worry too much about going fully synthetic, it's more important to change the oil very frequently as these little engines do not have any sort of an oil filter. That viscocity will be fine for what you need at the moment.
