It's a myth all this rubbish that a UFO clubman is 7.5-7.8 which equates to 5.5-5.8 on rpm. Richards clubmans run from 7.3 - 7.5 and they will be 5.6-5.8 on rpm. My sons UFO sp is around 7.6 and at the east Anglian cup we pushed Harry Thompson for the entire final on Sunday after both being tangled up in the first corner crash, and we posted the 2nd fastest lap of the day. And Harry's motors are monsters. Don't believe the hype. If you have a rpm between 5.8-6.0 it's a top motor if you have a UFO 7.6-7.8 it's a top motor but as with them all it's about the curve not the peak. But you could have purchased an early t2 which dynoed at 5.8 you have now run it serviced it for over 2 years that engine has probably got stronger and stronger and now may dyno at 5.9 or above but more importantly the curve would have got better making that engine a stonking clubman or a good cadet engine but it's not an sp because it's parts weren't selected, when first built.
