I have always just maxed new engines out of the box.
Agree with essex elite run high gearing.
I would change the oil after first half hour.
Are the engines de-governed?
Run them in sessions, 15 minutes runs, 15 minutes cooling, heat cycles are as important as time. Never run new engines in the wet, damp but not wet, if there is spray off the track it is too wet.
