By the time we had all sat down for a breather and packed the van etc, it was too late to say thanks to Roger and Co for enabling us to have such a great day,, and to the track owners and marshals ... on the Friday we tested and after only one lap you remember why Clay is regarded as such a great track !! the racing was fast and clean (ish) :), the day saw Tony lower his previous best lap time by some way to win heat 2 and in heat three i had a fantastic race with Jeff Johnson in which we were Millimeters apart several times but never touched once, The days stand out performance has to be Nigel in the final, great social side at the Friday eve BBQ with Steve,Barry, Phil,Keith and Bruce etc..... another great thing was seeing a notable increase in the Cadet grid size,, one last thing, the lot who turn up in the bright red ex London double decker bus, can you please find some more songs to play other than Mariah Carey's "All i want for Christmas is you" , its August lads !!! and Greg, the driver of the bus is walking around the pits in a race suit that looks like a Tuxedo , nutters !! :)
