It's interesting... All the advocates of this have only gone on and on about the grids bla bla... Genuine point, but please, change the fek*kin record.
There are some real concerns about where this is going. Not one of you who praise all this have countered any of these concerns.
I am running in 3 series this year, all 160's. Was considering epec (as already stated), and would possibly consider buying some 200's for that. But, why am I forced to use an engine builder that I don't want to use? That is NOT a choice is it! And I am not going to run in a series with 3 others running in that class. So, overnight, the 160 class has died. Not the end of the world, I just won't do it.
For fear of repeating myself, that class is a monopoly, end of. Knock yourself out if you want to be part of that. Maybe both classes will run alongside each other, and both will survive. But rarely is a monopoly good for anything.
Let's hope that there will be a considered response, rather than grids, grids, grids.
And, don't forget, I DO agree with the principle!
