another thought.....
the (standard)exhaust valve on the 160/200 is shorter than the inlet valve, if you are achieving increased valve lift by whatever means
then any coil bind issues or valve retainer contacting top of valve guide will likely happen on the exh valve first, have a good look when cranking your eng over by hand to see whats happening, those g4 springs although they appear short can be prone to coil bind at high valve lift scenarios compared to the springs available from across the pond
