Not been fortunate enough to have a T2 yet, but with T1s, it was always a case of have the heads checked after 10 - 15 hours, then they just get better.
The advice with those (and I suspect with T2s) was also that you don't use high octane, high quality fuels, since the build-up of carbon helps.
