The return to 4 heats is good but we have lost laps off all our race lengths. We only actually get 1 lap more than last year.

As for the tyre situation here are options Tyne and Wear Kart Club have presented us with

Prokart Tyres
Following the Tyne & Wear kart club meeting last night, it has been agreed to have a Prokart club members vote to determine the decision made regarding 2013 tyres.

Option A : Bridgestone YDS Slicks & Bridgestone YDK Wets (Dunlops KT3 wets until April 2013)

Option B : Dunlop SL1 Slicks, Bridgestone YDS Slicks & Dunlop KT3 Wets

Option C : Dunlop SL1 Slicks, Bridgestone YDS Slicks & Dunlop KT3 Wets, Bridgestone YDK.

Only 2013 members votes will be counted, please only select one option. All votes must be received by 23rd January 2013 by 5pm. Please email your vote to kartclub@kartingnortheast.com .. this email has been sent to all drivers who have a valid email address on our system if you have not received this email and would like to please send us an email requesting me add you to our database.

Make your decisions everyone.
