Rubbish, stock rods are fine to 8k plus. It's power or poor maintenance that causes rod failure, the standard rod is good to 9hp.

If you're not racing to MSA rules, your best bet is a GX200 bottom end, with your 160 head and flywheel you will increase compression and advance timing and see a decent increase in power.

Clone rods are very variable, there are plenty out there you wouldn't want to take above 4k let alone 6k, but some are nearly as good as Honda. But why bother when Honda parts are so cheap(relatively) anyway.
