It does, as someone else said, depend on the driver, but it also depends on the engine and the track.
At some tracks, with an engine with lots of top-end power, we would aim for 6100 revs, at GyG and Whilton Mill, where there are uphill sections, we'd prefer an engine with more bottom end torque and not chase the revs.
