I got the impression in order to safe guard the sport not much was been given away, which as much as everyone wants/needs to know its perhaps silly of us to debate such a thing on here.
Kelvin expressed either T-1's could have de valued over night if the new engines had been faster which would have wrecked the sport for many people, or become as rare as rocking horse sh*t if the new T-2's were slower!
So basically the engines are going to be equaled out so there should be no noticable difference between the T-1 and T-2 , but obviously you will get a good and a bad engine, but whats new this is how it has always been.

The disapointing thing at the weekend was it didnt give DIY builders much of an idea what they could do, but i belive Kelvin is writing the New regs ready for when the engines come out which if i remember right its March.
