The cost of the Kart would depend on your budget but we at the Rochdale Junior Karting Club have gone for a cheap 2006 MS Kart (£400) and two none SP (selected parts) engines from RPM. Total cost around £1200 and it's going well... 5th I think, so far, in the champs this year. A great championship and well worth doing. We are doing this ultra-low cost to see if it's possible to be competitive at a national level in motorsport. We are not doing the mid season engine build nor are we even changing the engine oil.
