You certainly had a lot of pace last nite 555. I was watching the trio of CPM, Controlled and Fastlane from the top of the embankment where you can see the entire circuit - was good to watch.
You were so eager to get past and you did well to keep in the fight. The real trick that early on though is to work together. You have to bear in mind that the reason you have the opportunity to pass is because you are in the kart-in-front's tow giving you that extra speed. If you get past, then that kart you just past will have the same opportunity and ultimately you'll end up slowing each other with over-takes. If you bump him from behind he'll go quicker, as will you as you'll still be in his tow.
2 or 3 karts fighting through 1 wall of air is quicker than 2 or 3 karts fighting through 2 or 3 walls of air.
The idea is for all of you to catch the McDonalds! ;-)
Not everyone seems to click onto that though and often you'll bump someone and they'll slam on or give you the V's!!
