Would it actually put people off doing the championship? There will be the serious ones who will test or at least have access to both tyres, and will take part regardless. Then there will be the ones who are serious but commit to one tyre, they'll still do it I'm sure. Then there may be some who are there just for the fun, they will still do it. Who actually won't do it just because of the tyres? I would imagine there will be more that would reconsider due to the 175kg weight limit rather than the tyres.

And for what it's worth, I anticipate very little difference between the Dunlop and the Bridgestone slick. It's when it rains that the big gains / losses are to be made. Then it really will be important to be on the 'right' brand.

Who is doing it? Be good to get a list of names together so we can start the predictions.
