well for what its worth i think at the mo the DKRC site isn,t any use at the mo, but i know that the chap (Nick) that has the job of doing it has alot on his plate already, he races a rotax and like me runs his own business.this i'm sure leaves very little time as he is also involved in the running of the club, having said this, DAYTONA maybe by now are finding that the owner drivers are an important income that they may have to encourage. one way to do this is to have an up to date site like it used to be, for example Jason Thatcher spent 7 years trying to win a championship,he has won the last two and nothing was said? in the end most karters are a bunch of anoraks, thats why we all read this site while the wife is probably asleep on the sofa. that means we love facts, figures,lap records and race reports, (or am i just sad?).. i think with the amount of staff Daytona has i hope they could find one of them to keep it fun and up to date. they need us for the dosh like we need them for their track, which by the way i love, the people that moan about the road etc need to remember when you go to see a good film you dont normally worry is it in a posh cinema, you just enjoy the film. i for one have found the Daytona Lydd staff great,and have noticed that the place is alot smarter than it was. i thank Speed-Demon-69 for putting my name forward (GRAHAM KING)to do the site but like NICK, time short and when it comes to computers i'm a tit!!! so in the end its down to the people at DAYTONA to sort this problem. see some of you on sunday.
