Lard is right, it just means that the caliper 'moves' exactly as the disc does when the kart flexes. Just make sure you check it regularly for the disc carrier moving on the axle, because if that heppens it will start to drag. That obviously applies to all arrangements though whether floating or not.
I have got to say that the disc / caliper combination that you have is my favourite of all the ones I have used in the last 8 years. The feel is awesome.
As an aside: A floating caliper get's called a floating caliper. But these arrangements aren't really floating in the true sense are they, like a floating disc is? They are fixed with the capacity to move with flex. Just a thought!!
