I agree with Gregor, from the outside it makes endurance karting look very corporate.

From my point of view, I think a better rule would be a limit on tyres. For a 24 hour race , you could have a limit on tyres 1 or 2 sets. Or maybe a limit to 6 tyres. Would you choose 1 set and a spare front and rear or go for 4 front and 2 rears? Also it would make decisions even more critical.

I also noticed the rules say you can use a maximum of 3 sets of dry tyres, why not have 2 slicks and 1 wets or 3 sets of tyres wets,drys or what ever mixture you want.

I'm not sure safety comes into it so much because the speed will be so low, but with 78 on the grid, that could be a disaster.....
