Well the only reason people run wide on the exit of the chicane at warden law is for extra time is it not?. With the PF style rumbble strips it would not be worth it, it would be slower, If Ian did go this route, he could have them made extra aggressive. But either way, its an option.
As for Spliting the Grids, Steven you do run at the front so your not in the mid grid fall outs, i stood and watched on sunday as you are aware and there were packs of karts mid field, mixed with clubman and Elite, all getting frustrated because half the people infront they didnt need to race, and in order to get the next kart in their class they had to battle with 3 elites. To add to this, one elite driver was knocking the clubman drivers around and destroying their race. Other people want it simply because the really slow clubman are lapped really quickly during a race, and this cocks up a good fight at the front, i suffered the most 2 meetings ago when i was running 3rd and got tangled up with 2 back markers, i finsihed 7th as a result. I dont think people are gurmbling, as such because there are huge numbers, spliting the grids wont mean the end of the grids growing at WL, infact, i bet u a £10 (welshy) they will grow even more, which is exactly whats happened at Pf and now they have just introduced a third grid to deal with the numbers. I have already heard of a few people not going to race until its sorted out because they cant afford to replace damaged parts.
The one thing i would add is, when i first went to Warden Law i was amazed at the Standard of Driving, it was the best i had seen in pro karts, and thats a major factor in why i return to warden law regularly. These standards have dropped massivly.
