Ive seen WF raced at Pf when the endurance used to be on the go, they raced togeather obviously in differnt classes! And i agree that there wasnt much between, i remember racing a WF and it was micky mouse all the way round the lap at PF, WF was faster in some corners, the prokart ate it alive in others! There used to be a good grid there but i always remember there was a team of Williams F1 lads from the factory (in the WiliamsBMW days) who raced in the WF, they had no end of trouble with them, they had a couple of engines always with them and had many go pop! one day they put a new one on, within 5min BANG. Perhaps this is why you find pro karts expensive, if world formulas are bad no one is gonna pay premiums are they? so they r gonna be cheap! Why spend less on a world formula on the outset to then spend an arm and a leg on engine woes? spend a bit more on a prokart and have reliablity and the cost will be less in the long run, some people do spend lots of cash, but there is a whole range of people in prokarts, which spend bags of cash to very little at all. From the stories ive heard i would never consider WF, And besides Prokarting is Great!
