I can understand your frustration but i dont think Graeme is being negative. Hes simply telling you what mistakes your making. And i would value his opinion because hes experienced guy. As for cutting the seat i never do because i got a smaller tank (3L) takes up less room so you dont have do just for future ref! Also gives you more leg room, i know some people wear through the side of the big 7L tanks because their legs rub. What i would say regarding your sproket is try every different one within the range for your track on the same day and find what works best. But you really need to have a lap timer with a rev count because you could damage your engines rev to high, but everyone knows you want to be rev about 5800, Also if your struggling with your lines watch other 'quick' people its the best way because your racing line is critical!
