after being at the buckmore club meeting this weekend i was surprised at how much money engines are selling for... there was talk of a few special engines on the market which were selling for stupid money considering a standard gx160 engine from rpm is about Ł420 and the supposed specials that are available from certain places are fetchin up to 10 x that amount. surely this makes a mochery of this class and could put potetial dads off from strating there kids in karting at all!! hopefully the regs will change to a buy back system which in my opinion is the only thing to do, how can people on a budget compete competivly against people that have endless funds! it should be down to driver skill and not havin a motor that is 6 or 7 tenths faster than anyone elses and costs 10 x as much.

hopefully this issue will be addressed and the engines will be more equal!
