unlike the younger 'me' of last year, im dealing with this a more mature way and am not just going to come on here a blame others. for starters i am not going to point any fingers and blame anyone (yet). therefore im not going to say which engine it is until we have proved it wasnt us that have touched the engine by showing that none of our seals have been tampered with. what i will say is we have never taken an engine to tal-ko purely becuase we havent had the money to, we struggled to pay for even the entry fees this year, let alone being slapped across the face with an £800 rebuild. And one other thing, wouldnt all of these situations with dodgy seals and people mucking round with engines go if there were no seals?? that way when you buy a second hand motor you can open it up to check it and perform all engine rebuilds yourself, and when you go to the track people like klaason open it up and make sure its all legal. to me this sounds a much better option as you then have no excuse for running with an illegal engine.
