Iwan,

New engines you will be looking at Ł400+vat, with 2 engines +vat it works out at around Ł970, that is also including the Ł30 postage for the pair of engines.

Second hand engines, well you cant really know how much they are worth unless you know how many hours they have done and how many rebuilds they have had in that time, you could get a good pair cheap, or end up paying a premium for bad ones, RPM dont build bad engines, when i say bad i mean not rebuilt for a long time and also they could be an older type of engine, when buying second hand, check engine numbers to se what spec the engine is.
Also make sure it has the RPM stamp somewhere around where the engine number is.

If money is not an issue then the best bet is to go for it and buy brand new RPM engines.
