I am inclined to agree with coach calhoon.....this is why we race in clubman, the racing is super-close and its developing all of the kids race-craft really nicely, all of the races over the last few months have been nail bitingly close
totally agree, chasing the waft will send you mental-crazy, especially when you eventually realize all of this 6.9 and 7.3 mean hp is a load of smoke and mirrors.
Over the past 4 years the most money I have spent on cadet karting (by a country mile) is 1:1 driver coaching from the very best people available, a go-pro needs to be mounted on the nassau panel and pointing at his feet, do that, then the gains you make will trump any engine cobblers you hear.
then start to play with the front-rear weight bias, seat position, castor & camber, then you will eventually strike gold
If you get desperate on the engines, give me a call, as I just bought my own dyno and I'm fully autonomous for engine machining, builds and upgrades ....... I'm doing a special offer on checking W50 emulsion tube legality for free at the moment (:-/.....but its not a hard sell as I'm busy enough, I just help people out who are struggling, which there seems to be a lot of.
