As Knighty says. We changed over from Magnum to Maxtorque clutches last year with a green spring. It was at that time we actually started wining races. We also went down to a a 16T clutch as this allows youn to use smaller rear sprockets, and smaller protectors or no protectors. This may not be possible at faster tracks though as you wont be able to get small enough rear sprockets. So then Use a Max torque 20T clutch instead. Smaller chains which is less weight and less friction as less teeth in contact with chain and rear sprocket. You only need about 1/4 mm of end float or 10Thouon on the crank. Dont use gorilla chain as the plates are thicker than DID chains.Use talon sprockets and RK blue chains.....chuck that Gorilla chain in the bin as they are thicker and heavier than a DID or RK chain. And lastly and not leastly , So glad we are out of Honda cadets...Dont even get me started on the engine builders who just rip you off with their smoke and mirror tactics. Just out of interest what are GX160 T2s making this month on the dyno...Have they got to 7.2 mean BHP yet? Yep so glad we are out of Honda cadets...
