Hi. I have a strange recurring problem that I'm hoping someone can advise me on? We have a 2014 Proj One chassis. I keep getting this really weird failure where the rear sprocket is completely 'eaten' by the chain. It's as if the chain doesn't mate with the sprocket teeth correctly and the teeth are then destroyed by the chain. This takes about 5-8 laps to get to the point where the chain then rides up completely onto the 'top' of the now rounded off teeth, creating very high chain tension that then tells my son there is a problem. The sprocket is always destroyed and binned, same with the chain. Everything is spotlessly clean, carrier in line with engine sprocket, chain lubed, tensioned correctly, new sprocket. I did originally think it may be a stretched chain but this has happened to us four times now over the last three months with different chains and sprockets. It is an intermittent fault though as most meetings are trouble free. Had it twice at the weekend though, including the final and am now really fed up with it. We have been using Gorilla chains. I am going to try a different make but does anyone have any ideas what may be the issue or has experienced this themselves? Axle is straight as far as I can see, sprocket carrier is Alto and fairly new. I am stumped....
