Put a wanted advert on this site and the other Karting1 one and you will get plenty of offers I'm sure, I have seen Formula Subarus change hands for £600, and not that shabby.
Considering she is tall, you could easily get a senior chassis, chuck on a GX200 with mild tuning for 12-15hp and just plod around for fun on test days as a leaning tool. But the cost of a cheap kart build soon spirals out of control, so be careful
I think what you really need is a second hand Briggs&Stratton World Formula set-up, which is a 12hp 204cc 4-stroke...... just pull the handle and go......very popular in Ireland, Roger from RPM sells loads of them to Ireland
quite simply the faster you go, the more its going to cost......dont get emotionally attached to your first kart, buy it, drive it, flog it, move on and learn more.....we had our first kart for 6 months, then soon realized we needed something better......that was 5 years ago, I have now lost count of how many chassis types we have been through, I think its 6!
