What to remember, however, every chassis will have its own idiosyncratic behaviours that don't follow the guidelines. Add driving style and you end up with more opinions than brands of beer!

On my MSs over the years we never changed the rear in the wet and just played with the front width, toe and caster. On my 7karts I used to run the front and rear as wide as I could get and dial on loads of toe and caster and tighten the rear number and middle bearing (mk1)

With wet tyres in the rain you also want the narrowest rims possible and as the track dries you go wider.
