We run Honda cadet in MSA. You need to set the idle so the clutch is just " Tinking" so if your clutch engages at 2500 you need to idle at 2350-2400. If it engages at 2250 you need to set idle at 2150-2200 or just so the clutch is making a Tinking , ringing noise when the Karts on the deck. Depending on what springs you have installed in your clutch, They will prob be blue or White springs and this will determine what RPM your clutch engages....It is so you dont have a lagg when coming off and back on the throttle..Bit like a Turbo lagg....So Yes it should be idling higher than you might think is normal!
