Yes. My initial reaction is that it makes the catch tank redundant. The vertical valve that has been discussed is just another type of breather valve. I think what actually needs to happen is cut off the fuel SUPPLY if the kart goes upside down. That means putting some sort of inertia valve in the fuel line itself, not the breather.
