Some good points listed above, but I think there is some confusion over whats actually required. We are all talking about one-way valves, but whats actually required is a roll-over valve, which are commonly available ish and been used in circuit racing sine jesus was a lad
I believe they work by once rolled-over (past 90 degrees) the free ball-bearing (which is not spring loaded) inside blocks the exit, deemon tweeks have some, but I must say none of them look very "karting"

Hold on a mo.....Amazon might have just come up trumps, I think this is what everyone is looking for, used on bike fuel caps to prevent spill when rolled over, but allows breathing when upright:
