I have to agree with Knighty here. We started out racing Honda Cadet this year with a 2012 PJ ONE fitted with a T1 SP motor. After a month I bought another T1,BIG mistake, I should have just got a T2 .....a month after that I bought a new T2 clubman from RPM as we were almost going backwards compared to the rest of grid. We have used this motor all year and have been middle of the pack at Rowrah and Wigan 3 sisters.Your boy will take a while to get used to racing and even wont get the full potential out of any motor for at least 2 or 3 months.But buying twice or 3 times will just be false economy! Wait until he has maxed out the T1 and then buy a T2 clubman or if you are rich a T2 SP.....that extra 0.2BHP will cost you another Ł600...........Oh and don't forget to buy the new Ł130 DEP exhaust that all Honda cadets will need for 2016. Budget Karting my @rse!
