Thanks all for you're responses I'm afraid Ł1200 is a little outside my current budget.
I used to race Rotax Senior at Forest Edge so will maybe pop down there and take a look to see whats about. There seems to be the odd bargain on ebay but any Honda cadets seem pretty rare. I appreciate we need something that is up to current regs but I think he would be attending just practice for some months first happy to make the odd change / update but would prefer something race ready. Is Honda the best route for low maintenance? There seems to be massive grid at FEKC.
