Well,we know that RPM remove the governor mechanism and linkage, fit and provide connection to the crankcase for a pulse pump, supply and fit an engine cover with stickers. We assume they fit the regulation debaffled exhaust and suitable valve springs eg.G4, and optimise the ignition timing within the regs. We think they optimise the valve timing by turning the cam gear on the crank. From there on we are into possibilities bearing in mind the restrictive nature of the MSA regs. They could hone the bore , index the plugs, grind the valves, change main jets and or emulsion tubes off the allowed list, fit the second rotator on the 'other' valve, remove bits of the air filter, close up the air gap on the coil. All these possibilities seem fairly 'small beer'. Then a quick run on the dyno to ensure it's not too bad or too good. Remedy or put on the other pile. Change the oil for Joe Bloggs and there you are. What have I missed?
