3 x 4.5 is the right size for two karts. You will find a a 3x3 will not have enough room. Personaly I would spend the extra money on a hamilton heavy duty as it is much stonger and will withstand the weather better. I learnt the hard way by having a cheep one first ,which just bent and broke the first season. so I spent the extra money. It lasted several seasons untill i sold it when i retired. Tom
