So,
Since my last and first run out at the sprints I had 2 DNF and didn't actually make the end of the day, so inbetween times ive had my kart down to almost a chassis and started again.
My brake is better (not fantastic but not binding), Ive had all the bearings and carriers off, lubed, back on and aligned which gives me a nice free running rear axle. Ive lowered and reclined my seat position, changed the position of my clutch on engine 1 to inverted to allow for my sprocket to be brought and giving me more hub clearance. Fitted sprocket protectors and replaced my knackered hubs with two more and replaced the studs in them too. Ive realigned my front wheels and put my two back tyres onto two new wheels since once was knackered.
then...
looked at the weather forcast and saw it was monsoon season on Sunday and wondered whether i should be bringing a jetski instead of a kart. My seat was better where it was, my rear axle was better setup for wet, my front wheels could do with being toe'd in so feeling slightly miffed.
Im now stood in the front garden in my underpants doing a sun dance hoping we can get at least a dry day.
looking forward to it anyway.
on that note does anyone know the times for the day ?
