Brian's advice is probably the best way to be fair.

I haven't had much experience stripping down the kart engines so far, but was a dab hand at the Jetski ones until switching hobby.

You could spend ages and more money than you need to trying to find it, where changing parts one by one would get you there quicker.

Start with a carb swap and work down from there.

Curious to the outcome so keep us posted.
