Excellent post. The exact same reason me and my 2 brothers and our sons did F6 (I did it fir 10yrs). Brilliant place to go and race.

We were the ones who suggested that an Open class was brought out after speaking to Roger about it - back in 98 (Open started in 99). We were basically fed up with the tuning costs of the then modified class.

The open class was brilliant but when some Ecomotos got 'tuned' I think to 35hp - by having a 300 head fitted etc it got frustrating. Thats why they ended up with their own class for a few years. Then of course the biland was released (I think in 2001) with my brother having the first one in F6. The rest is history I guess:)

Lee Hollywood was by far the best driver at that time - and probably still is!
