We were running the Vega Greens at Whilton, not the Vega Whites which many of the other drivers were running. Some say the Whites can be approx 8 tenths faster.

There's no doubt the XR30 engine is very strong, and was a great match to the ecomoto, being slightly weaker on the bottom end, but slightly stronger at the top, which made for great racing! This is probably part of the reason why it didn't go as well at Bayford which is highly favoured towards engines with a strong bottom end. Whilton is a much more mid range circuit.

I'm not quite sure what 'abrupt' driving is...
