Prentice

Do remember that, looked at crudely:-
A) the more grippy a tyre, the shorter it's life expectancy.

Add the second crude 'rule':
B) the more grippy the tyre the faster the lap

Combining A and B should tell you that if you run a longer-life-expectancy tyre, then your lap times will (probably) be slower.

Is THAT what you want?

For the pedants, yes I know those two 'rules' don't apply in ALL situations...... but they do in most.
