Couple of points guys. Firstly, Chinese doesn't necessarily mean bad quality and the Villiers is the best of the clones by a big margin. Furthermore even Honda are moving over much of their production to China, up until now you could buy grey imports, but now Honda Europe legitimately import the GX160 and GX200 from the Chinese factory, they are basically UT1 spec and all but an experienced engine tuner would struggle to tell the difference. Trade price is about 25% cheaper than the version from Thailand, so if you wanted these in pallet quantity (36 at a time) you could probably see them for less than £200 each if you spoke to the right person. They have metal cams, no oil alert and Honda flywheels, so no modifications required.
Second, major point, the yanks have been racing clones for years and the first rule is that they would never ever go anywhere near an unregulated clone with the standard flywheel. Effectively you are sitting next to what amounts to a DIY hand grenade, be very afraid. A trawl on the net will show you gruesome evidence of what happens when one lets go at 6000rpm.
