The capacity in the engine (I think is something closer to 600)

I think 450 is OK unless you've removed the side and mopped out every last bit of oil, in which case you should be putting in 500.

I guess it depends too on what tracks you drive on, straight less of an issues, tight and twisty you're expecting a lot of the flicker / splasher thing in the bends.
