Brian..... that's hardly fair! The money that drivers CHOOSE to spend on their motor is nothing to do with the 'long running hours'.
Secondly, the item listed may have made F*** ALL difference to the performance: the use of the highly amateurish term 'goes like the wind' gives the game away! 99% of us (including you) would say that an ENTIRELY standard one goes 'like the wind', anyway!
This concept of lightening the flywheel is a JOKE anyway. Yes, it CAN make a difference but the difference is MINOR. The motor NEVER revs up free of hampering 'kart mass' and thus the difference between the rate of rev increase with a standard-flywheel+whole kart+driver or lightened flywheel+whole kart+driver is MICROSCOPIC.
If you can show that the running costs of a standard engine, or a 'tuned' engine, are high... then you WILL have proved your point.... without, you haven't! God knows what the costs are, yet but they will always be less than running a 'race spec' pair of Hondas, that's for sure! And those Hondas are supposed to be a BUDGET class!
Once again, I don't own an Aixro, am not connected with, AIM and not connected with any part of the sales or service team who has any interest in Aixro: I just know a BRILLIANT design when I see one.
