The answer is no .even with a car battery on the remote starter they can be a pig to turn over.you really dont need on board starting ,they rarely stop on the track even after a spin.
you can start them on your own ,just put a block under the frame start the engine on choke ,let it warm then idle lift off the block and off you .go . But when sarting on the grid you must be seated in the kart MSA rules.Always help at hand anyway.
