Looks like a difference of opinion on the forum. I can understand peoples opinion if you prefer rolling starts because 'Its more of a rush, its easier to make up places, etc etc' but am struggling with the 'its not the solution' or 'it won't work'. All I can go on is I descussed it with 6 of the 10 prokart drivers on Sunday in favour, plus at least 2 more voted to give it a trial at the presentation. It may not work or drivers may prefer the rolling starts, it can always be put back. I don't know myself, having never done standing starts only in the corporate (which seemed fine) but would be prepared to give it a go just for 1 meeting. I am led to believe Stretton do standing starts? and PFi have recently tried it and used both formats on the day! Perhaps a mix of rolling and standing is a good idea, keeps everyone happy and adds a bit of variety.
