had this problem with Dan 2 years ago (we went to Tkm and hated every minute!) we did try world formula junior but there were no grids so I fed him extra portions of dinner and put him into prokart early with a load of lead and let him do local stuff.
I now have the same problem again , Ryan is now approaching 14 and out of Honda cadets and has no where to go, as it stands at the moment he is getting the same double portion treatment (bit of a change after a year of starving him to keep him at the weight for honda cadet to do super one!) and he will be doing local non msa races same as Dan did as there is no alternative , I would rather wipe my *rse with a broken bottle than go back to fiddling with carbs and push starting a tkm and Im not subscribing to the money pit that is mini max!! Super cadet was introduced to fill the gap but it just hasnt happened unless you do super one .
Ive suggested a few times about running junior prokart at the same engine and tyre spec as they run senior but just reduce the weight to 160kg , I cant see the point of running extra head gaskets or a smaller less powerful engine and generally complicating things by making them slower, even left untouched they are not going to be junior max pace and lets face it kids dont want to go slow ask them!! world formula used to run that way same spec different weight.
would be great if something like this was introduced!
