Sorry if there have been any misunderstandings, but that is what I have ben trying to suggest through all of this, not that all engines or classes should be buy-back, that wouldn't be acceptable when you think how much some folk have paid for their engines. There would have to be a specific class, with it's own points structure, awards etc, that would use Ł425 engines, available from RPM, UFO P. etc and using the buy-back regs. However, I can tell you that, when previously offered at PFI in sprints and EPEC in endurance, there were no takers for this proposed class, in spite of all the drivers that moan about the cost of engines! Would there be a change of heart if it were to be considered again now?
